Julienne Vinson

Jeweled Events was created by Julienne Vinson, an elementary educator living in Prince George's County, Md with her husband, Jamel, their daughter, Juliana and their dog, Polo. She is inspired by challenges and is often looking for her next big goal to accomplish. She loves to travel, read, and of course, plan events.

In 2008, Julienne graduated from Spelman College with a degree in Psychology. She started a career in teaching, counseling, and coaching in 2010 after successfully completing Masters programs at Columbia University and George Mason University. She taught grades 1st- 3rd, with her favorite being 2nd grade!

On June 16, 2012, Julienne married her college sweetheart, Jamel. Her favorite part of preparing for her wedding was planning all of the details and ensuring that no detail went unplanned. Julienne planned her entire wedding (with photo graphics and 11 page itineraries) that was so thorough that all her vendors only had to execute the careful plans.

Since planning her wedding, Julienne has received many requests from friends to assist with the planning and execution of their special events. While educating children in urban communities has and continues to be rewarding, Julienne realized that her biggest passion is event planning and providing a quality, yet affordable product to all clients.
